Dr Craig Sheridan
BSc (Hons) MBChB MRCGP (2013) MSc SEM (Distinction) FFSEM (UK) PgCert Med US (Distinction) Consultant in sports & exercise and musculoskeletal medicine.
Dr Sheridan is a GP and a Consultant musculoskeletal and sports physician. He completed his medical training at Leicester-Warwick medical school in 2006 obtaining a first class honours in his intercalated degree. After several years working as a GP Dr Sheridan embarked on further specialist training undertaken at Cambridge University Hospitals and East Suffolk and North Essex NHS foundation trusts with fellowships training at the Defence National Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall, Loughborough. For the past decade he has worked with professional athletes including as a medical consultant for the English Football Association (FA) and continues to work with Ipswich Town football club.
Dr Sheridan is a fellow of the faculty of sport and exercise medicine and has a master’s degree with distinction in sports and exercise medicine and a post graduate certificate with distinction in medical ultrasound.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Dr Sheridan enjoys watching and participating in a range of sports as well as general fitness training. He looks forward to enjoying the sport and exercise offered on the island and enjoying this with his wife and two daughters.
