Dr Caroline Yates

MBBS BSc (Hons) MRCGP DRCOG DCoSRH LoC IUT LoC SDI

Dr Yates grew up in Derbyshire and completed her medical degree at Kings College London in 2007.  She worked as a junior doctor in Kent and undertook her GP training in Oxfordshire.

She moved to the island in 2012 with her husband, who grew up in Guernsey.

Dr Yates has worked as a local GP for the past 13 years before moving to IslandHealth.

Her interests include women’s health, reproductive and sexual health, menopause, lifestyle medicine and greener practice. She undertakes LARC procedures – implants & coil insertions and removals, fit and remove pessaries, do smears and also happy to do cryotherapy. She also works at Choices clinic in town.

Outside of work, she enjoys walking the family dog, running, playing padel tennis and spending time with family and friends.  Her young daughter keeps her busy.  She also enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures.
