Dr Alia Andersson

Dr Andersson joins us from Manchester, where she was the clinical lead in a busy inner city practice where she developed a passion for deprivation medicine and refugee health. She has a specialist interest in diabetes that developed during her time studying Podiatry at The London Foot Hospital at UCL. She went on to study medicine at Guys Kings and St Thomas. She undertook her GP training in the North West of England during which she completed the Diploma in Child Health and she remains focused on all aspects of child health in her practice.In addition Dr Alia also speaks: Urdu,Punjabi,Farsi,Hindi,Pushtoo and some Arabic.

Outside of work she is enjoying exploring the Island with her family and her puppy, loves baking and drinking lots of tea!
